Terms of service.

General Agreement: 

By purchasing any original artwork from Allison Belolan, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions outlined below.

• Artwork Descriptions: 

  All descriptions and representations of the artwork, including size, medium, and colors, are provided to the best of Allison Belolan's knowledge and ability. However, please note that colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings.

• Payment: 

  Payment for artwork must be made in full before the artwork is shipped or picked up. Allison Belolan accepts payments on her website through Squarespace and in person through Square, Venmo, and cash.

• Shipping and Handling: 

  Cost of shipping is included in the cost of the artwork with the exception of commissioned works where the cost is additional. The artwork will be packaged securely to ensure its safe arrival. Allison Belolan is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping.

• Delivery Time: 

  Estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of purchase. However, please note that these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond Allison Belolan’s control.

• Returns and Refunds: 

  All sales are final. Allison Belolan does not accept returns or offer refunds unless the artwork is received in a damaged condition. In such cases, the buyer must notify Allison Belolan within 3 business days of receiving the artwork, providing photographic evidence of the damage. Refunds or replacements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Ownership: 

  Ownership of the artwork is transferred to the buyer upon receipt of payment in full. The buyer may display the artwork for personal or non-commercial purposes.

• Resale:

  As the owner, you agree to inform Allison Belolan of any intention to sell or transfer the artwork to a new owner. Allison Belolan will be provided with the proposed terms of sale or transfer and retains the right of approval for the resale or transfer, ensuring the continued integrity and provenance of the artwork.

• First Right of Refusal

  In the event that you, the owner, intend to sell or transfer the artwork, Alison Belolan will be given the first right of refusal to purchase the artwork at a mutually agreed-upon price before any third-party sale or transfer takes place.

• Future Exhibition Loans

  You, as the owner, agree to honor Allison Belolan’s requests to loan artwork for future exhibitions, provided reasonable notice is given. Allison retains the right to temporarily loan artwork for exhibitions during agreed-upon periods and is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling the artwork for exhibitions.

• Artwork Care: 

  The buyer is responsible for the proper care and maintenance of the artwork. Please display the artwork in suitable conditions, avoiding direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.

• Communication: 

  All communication regarding the purchase, shipping, and any inquiries should be directed to allison@allisonbelolanart.com

• Privacy: 

  Any personal information provided by the buyer will be used solely for the purpose of completing the transaction and will not be shared with third parties.

• Governing Law: 

  These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New York State, and any disputes arising from the purchase or sale of the artwork will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York State.

• Modifications: 

  Allison Belolan reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective for all future purchases made after the revised terms have been posted on www.allisonbelolanart.com
